A big old house above the sea.
Built in the 1950s as a family holiday house, and still run like one. Five rooms, one garden, one deck.
Check availabilityThe house
Thick white walls, wooden floors and windows that face the water. We kept what was good about the old house and fixed everything else.
The garden
Under the milkwoods.
Seven milkwood trees, some older than the town. They are protected, so the house was built around them, and the garden grew in their shade.
Every morning
Breakfast, slowly.
From eight until ten, at your own table on the deck, above the sea. Pieter's sourdough, eggs from up the road, fruit, yoghurt and proper coffee. On cold mornings we move inside by the fire.
